palmerton camera club photo display

The Palmerton Camera Club will be displaying a selection of photos in the gallery of the Palmerton Library on Delaware Ave in Palmerton.  The display includes a collection of photos taken by club members and covers a wide range of topics.  Many of the photos are available for sale and a portion of the proceeds from photo sales will go to the library.  The display will run for the entire month of September and will be open during standard library hours. Admission is free.


The Palmerton Camera Club was formed in 1947 and its membership includes photographers ranging from novices to skilled professionals.  The club strives to provide a learning atmosphere and the opportunity to display members’ work at monthly meetings through informal challenges.  Guest speakers are invited to meetings to speak on various photography topics.  Please browse our galleries on the website to see samples of our work.

in memory of bob reinhart

1943 - 2026

It is with great sadness that we report the loss of Bob Reinhart on January 13th, 2026.  Bob was a long-time member of the PCC and his contributions, along with those of his wife Connie, were instrumental in making the club what it is today. Bob's skills in photography and his pleasant demeanor made him a valuable resource and just plain fun to have around.  For those who knew Bob, he always had an interesting story to share and his love of photography and the camera club were plainly evident.  Bob  was also a talented woodworker and the above photo, which was taken by Connie, depicts Bob at work in his shop.  The use of light and shadows and the presentation of the subject make it an excellent photo and an appropriate tribute to Bob.  We can honor Bob's memory by enthusiastically supporting the Club and seeing it continue as he did in his life.
